Who We Are
Chile Investments is an English-speaking real-estate consultancy helping international clients find and purchase property in Chile. We specialise in farms, agricultural land, vineyards and wineries for sale, with additional expertise in Patagonia real estate and selected residential properties in Santiago.
We primarily represent buyers. Through a nationwide network developed over more than 18 years, we identify both publicly advertised properties and off-market opportunities that meet each client’s location, investment and lifestyle requirements. The properties shown on this website represent just a selection of the real estate available in Chile.
Chile Investments is owned and managed by Matt Ridgway, a British real-estate agent, property consultant, investor and boutique winery owner who has lived permanently in Chile since 2007.
Matt’s advice is based on first-hand experience. He has owned property in Santiago, Valparaíso and the Colchagua Valley, built houses, renovated apartments and developed a vineyard, winery and tourism business from the ground up. That business exports wine to five countries, achieves consistent scores of more than 90 points from international and local critics and works with one of Chile’s most important national distributors.
Before moving permanently to Chile, Matt established his first real-estate consultancy in Buenos Aires in 2004. He later lived in Valparaíso, where he participated in the restoration of historic properties, before moving to the Colchagua Valley in 2009.
